在這里學(xué)什么？
Learn to develop more effective treatments for diseases and discover how molecules may modify living systems. You’ll be trained to become a research scientist. This course will provide you with an integrated view of drug action linked to disease-related functions of the major organ systems.
You’ll gain knowledge of the fundamental principles of chemistry, biology and the physical sciences, and will be able to apply these principles to specific problems in drug discovery. Through our hands-on classes, you’ll develop practical laboratory skills.
You’ll also have the opportunity to complete the Home Office Licence Module Training Course during your degree. You’ll be trained to be a high-quality, innovative and independent research scientist. You could go on to work on the development of new treatments for both human and animal diseases, or in related fields such as marketing, drug regulation or scientific communication.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAA or A*AB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics.If you are taking a GCE A level in a science subject, you will need to pass any separate science practical endorsement.Alternate offer: AAB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics plus one of:grade A in an EPQ,grade B in the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Challenge Certificate,grade B in a Core Mathematics qualification,grade B in AS level Mathematics or Statistics.If you receive an offer for this course and are studying one of these qualifications you will be given both the typical and alternative offer.
