在這里學(xué)什么？
Learn how engineering, manufacturing and management work together in industry. Gain expertise in product creation processes from design to end manufacture.
Our course develops your understanding of the sciences and disciplines relating to manufacturing. You’ll study engineering, manufacturing and management to understand their role in production processes.
We draw on our links with industry to build your knowledge of the integrated systems, processes and technologies used in advanced manufacturing. Learning about the latest engineering developments will inspire you to explore ways to produce high quality products at a low cost.
Studying an MEng gives you an in-depth study experience through advanced taught units and project work, and it fulfils the educational requirements you need to become a Chartered Engineer. You have the flexibility to transfer to any of our five mechanical engineering courses up until the end of your second year. This empowers you to take your degree in a direction that best suits your ambitions.
Placement
A placement lets you experience working in a commercial or industrial environment and learn about the technologies and processes that companies use. It can also be an opportunity to earn a salary during your degree and make industry contacts. Gaining professional experience can improve your career prospects and count towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
Careers
Our graduates have many skills that make them attractive to prospective employers, including teamwork, problem solving, creativity and numeracy. They hold specialist and managerial roles in high technology industries in engineering and manufacturing. Many of our graduates continue their studies with us or at other universities to pursue academic and research careers. Some of our graduates have gone on to work at international companies including Jaguar Land Rover, Airbus, nPower, Proctor & Gamble and Zimmer Biomet.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) AAA or A*AB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics.If you are taking a GCE A level in a science subject, you will need to pass any separate science practical endorsement.Alternate offer: AAB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics plus one of:grade A in an EPQ,grade B in the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Challenge Certificate,grade B in a Core Mathematics qualification,grade B in AS level Mathematics or Statistics.If you receive an offer for this course and are studying one of these qualifications you will be given both the typical and alternative offer.
