Develop a broad knowledge of biological systems, and skills that can lead to a range of careers in the biosciences and beyond.
Of all our biosciences courses, biology offers the broadest range of subjects. You’ll gain a wide range of skills and knowledge by learning about life on Earth across all levels. This will give you a broad foundation in biology in areas such as paleontology, ecology, biodiversity, genetics, evolution, cell biology and microbiology.
You will graduate with a solid foundation for further study or graduate roles where a broader knowledge of biosciences is needed. The academic and key skills you develop will also prepare you for a wide range of other careers.
Prepare for your future
You’ll graduate with the knowledge and skills for work in a variety of areas, such as the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, environment and education. You could also go on to further study, such as a master’s or PhD.
Studying a biosciences degree requires you to apply a broad skill set to the understanding of complex processes. This skill set is also useful in a range of other careers, such as business, management, marketing and science teaching.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 AAA or A*AB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics.If you are taking a GCE A level in a science subject, you will need to pass any separate science practical endorsement.Alternate offer: AAB in three A levels including A in one of: Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology or Statistics plus one of:grade A in an EPQ,grade B in the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Challenge Certificate,grade B in a Core Mathematics qualification,grade B in AS level Mathematics or Statistics.If you receive an offer for this course and are studying one of these qualifications you will be given both the typical and alternative offer. If you are taking a GCE A level in a science subject, you will need to pass any separate science practical endorsement.
