在這里學什么？ English and Theology & Religion at Aberdeen combines all the advantages of the UK’s second most highly-rated research hub for English literature, language and creative writing. The programme offers a fascinating exploration of the origin, function and meaning of religion, studying and comparing the major religions across the world, with special focus on Christian faith in historic and contemporary contexts.Aberdeen is a leading centre for the study of literature, language and creative writing, rated second in the UK for its research output. You’ll study poetry and prose through the dynamic relationship between author, reader and literary text, covering every period from Chaucer to contemporary English, Scottish, Irish, European and American writing and the cultural and critical impact of powerful and controversial modern works. You will be inspired by enthusiastic teachers and researchers, themselves acclaimed authors and poets and be encouraged to develop your own creative writing skills.In Theology and Religion you will gain a sound understanding of the major religious traditions of the world, including their historical development and contemporary importance, with a special focus on Christian faith, life and doctrine in its historical, institutional and contemporary context. You will study biblical languages, the history of the church in the west, the Reformation in Scotland, the role of religion in ethical and political debates and religious aspects of disability.As a graduate, you will be highly employable in a wide range of roles including church ministry and administration, media and journalism, public service and administration, charities, NGOs, business, publishing, education and research.

Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. IELTS overall score - 6.0, Listening - 5.5 or above, Reading - 5.5 or above, Speaking - 5.5 or above, Writing - 6.0 or above. TOEFL iBT overall score - 78, Listening - 17 or above, Reading - 18 or above, Speaking - 20 or above, Writing - 21 or above.
