專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ The programme aims to provide you with the potential to develop a career as a senior manager or consultant responsible for the processes of the management, maintenance, rehabilitation and refurbishment of built facilities. It achieves this aim by the means of learning outcomes which will provide to students a broad education in the academic disciplines related to building design and construction, the management of property, built facility procurement and construction operations. In addition, it will provide a knowledge and understanding of the latest, basic techniques and skills related to built facility maintenance, refurbishment and rehabilitation, and will give to students a potential for the acquisition in practice of an ability to manage the processes of maintenance, refurbishment and rehabilitation of built facilities. This programme comprises of a foundation year (Part 0) provided through the International Foundation Programme (IFP) which provides access to higher education in Britain to international students who do not possess the normal entry requirements of GCE Advanced level qualifications or the equivalent. Through the part 0 you will be equipped with subject specific and general study skills which will enable you to cope with the demands of undergraduate study. This is achieved through the provision of high quality teaching which is sympathetic to the needs of students from a wide range of educational backgrounds
