This master’s degree educates students in the intricacies of coastal and ocean policy and management. Viewed as an MBA for people wanting to work in marine and coastal industries, this rigorous degree prepares students for a successful career in upper management and policy building, in both the private and public sectors.
This degree has both a thesis and non-thesis option to suit individual student needs. Students who complete this degree will be prepared for a successful career in a number of private and public sectors, both in management and in policy-making. With innumerable industries and communities dependent on the ocean’s resources, graduates of this program have plenty of flexibility for employment.
This degree program views marine natural resources management and policy development from both an ecological and policy perspective, which serves the needs of both private and public sector jobs in a great range of companies and agencies.
