Intellectual Property focuses on the legal aspects of protecting, producing and utilizing the products of innovation and creativity, which involves expertise in patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and similar topics. To earn a concentration in Intellectual Property, students must obtain a minimum of 16 credits in core and related courses. Students must achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.33 in each graded course used to satisfy the concentration requirements. Courses offered for a grade may not be taken pass/fail in satisfaction of the requirements. Although substitutions are generally not allowed, a substitution may be permitted in unusual circumstances.
