The USC Gould School of Law and the Department of Economics jointly offer a three-year program leading to the J.D. and M.A. degrees. Applicants must apply to both the Law School and the Graduate School and meet requirements for admission to both. Work toward the M.A. degree normally begins during the student’s second year of residence.
Students are required to complete 92 units of law and economics course work, 4 units of which must constitute a thesis acceptable to the faculties of the law school and the Department of Economics. Before enrolling in economics courses, students must have completed an undergraduate course in probability and statistical inference (e.g., BUAD 310). Students with undergraduate degrees in such disciplines as business, economics, mathematics and psychology will usually have taken such a course as part of their undergraduate program.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must have a Bachelor degree earned at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. English language requirement: TOEFL: 90 or above, with 20 or above in each section; IELTS: 6.5 or above, with 6 or above on each band.
