The growing need for health professionals with legal backgrounds led to the development of the dual Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Juris Doctor (JD) degree program offered by the USC School of Pharmacy and the USC Gould School of Law.
Students can pursue a unique combination of specialties within each discipline to create a degree program that meets their individual interests and career goals. For example, students can combine expertise in administrative, industrial, substance abuse, primary care, geriatric and/or pediatric pharmacy with medical malpractice, health care, tort liability, product liability, intellectual property, patent and professional responsibility law.
Graduates of the PharmD/JD dual-degree program will be well prepared for careers in health-related law such as:
- Corporate attorneys within the pharmaceutical industry
- Patent law specialists
- Managed care lawyers
- Private practice

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have a Bachelor degree earned at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. English language requirement: TOEFL: 90 or above, with 20 or above in each section; IELTS: 6.5 or above, with 6 or above on each band.
