To perform effectively in an interconnected world that is constantly evolving, science and technology leaders need to complement their technical expertise with communication, leadership, and relational skills. Brown’s Executive Master in Science & Technology Leadership program trains students to approach problems with an interdisciplinary mindset and gives them the tools that will propel them to the next stage in their career.
A format that makes distance learning dynamic, and face-to-face sessions convenient.
Throughout the program, students convene for five in-person sessions, with online classroom work woven between these residencies.
Each term begins and ends in a residential session, providing students the opportunity to engage and develop strong bonds with faculty and peers. These relationships are the foundation for the powerful network that develops– creating an environment for a lively exchange of ideas and connections that serve as expert resources during and after the program.
Online, students continue to develop connections with their peers and faculty through thoughtfully curated content, meaningful coursework, challenging discussions, and collaborative projects designed to inspire strong and high impact learning in the group.
Our online courses utilize state-of-the-art digital tools and learning strategies purposefully designed for dynamic distance learning. Online modules are built with a brief introduction, readings or videos, and interactive assignments that foster thoughtful, substantive contributions from every participant.
