The Graduate Certificate in Information Systems (IS) is an entry-level course and is part of an articulated postgraduate program in Information Systems.
The Graduate Certificate in IS provides a background in information systems to enable professionals to effectively understand and engage in areas involving IS.
Professionals working in almost every field will encounter the need to understand IS. This course allows professionals an entry into the increasingly essential area of IS, to expand their career prospects.
Course aims
This entry level course is designed to enable professionals with a non-cognate degree to acquire knowledge and skills in IS. It also allows those who wish to expand their IS abilities even further, the opportunity to articulate into the full Master of IS course.
Course structure
Students are required to complete 24 credit points of the information systems core subjects.
