COVID – 19 Update: We appreciate our students' understanding and willingness to adapt to remote learning. By March 23, all spring semester graduate and undergraduate classes will be delivered online to the greatest extent possible.
The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health offers a summer-only option for the MPH 45-credit program in the clinical effectiveness field of study only. The summer-only MPH program can be completed by taking courses in three consecutive summers in the summer session, and students also may take courses during winter session.
The PCE is a fast-paced, rigorous program that requires students to be free of all clinical responsibilities during the 7-week period. This enables students to fully commit to the intense, yet very rewarding curriculum.
These programs allow PCE graduates to take many of the summer PCE courses listed above, as well as other courses at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Students in these degree programs can take elective methods courses offered through the blended MPH in Epidemiology Program. This gives PCE graduates multiple degree and scheduling options with courses targeted for the clinical researcher. Summer-only degrees can be completed with two summers in residence at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health.
