Learn how to use mathematics and statistics to solve real-world problems. Our academics work with industry, business and the public sector.
Course description
This intensive introduction to advanced pure and applied mathematics draws on our strengths in algebra, geometry, topology, number theory, fluid dynamics and solar physics. You’ll attend lectures but you’ll also get hands-on research experience, writing a dissertation supervised by an active researcher.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students who hold a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university will be considered for direct entry to postgraduate diploma or masters programmes. For entry to MBA students need a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university and at least 3 years′ post-graduation work experience. Students must be at least 25 years old by the time the programme starts. Postgraduate applicants are required to achieve a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
