Course description
This course explores key issues in international relations and global politics, with a particular focus on the East Asia region. You'll learn about the major structures and ideas shaping international politics in East Asia such as changing power dynamics and regional identity.
The course is jointly run by the Department of Politics and International Relations and the School of East Asian Studies so you will be taught by leading experts from both departments.
Teaching
There are lectures and small group seminars.
Assessment
You’ll be assessed on your essays, policy briefing papers, exams, presentations, a group project, and a dissertation.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who hold a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university will be considered for direct entry to postgraduate diploma or masters programmes. For entry to MBA students need a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university and at least 3 years′ post-graduation work experience. Students must be at least 25 years old by the time the programme starts. Postgraduate applicants are required to achieve a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
