在這里學什么？ Physics at Sheffield gives you hands-on experience working with leading academics on real research projects. We teach the IT and programming skills that you’ll need for a career in industrial research. And there are plenty of opportunities for fieldwork: investigating dark matter 1km underground at Boulby Mine, or 2,400m above sea level at an observatory in the Canary Islands. We also send students to CERN in Geneva, for work placements and visits.The course comes with a built-in insurance offer: if you firmly accept (as your first choice) an offer of place on the MPhys, but your A Level grades are AAB, you’re guaranteed a place on the three-year BSc.Many of our graduates become research scientists in academia and industry. Others go into aerospace, telecommunications, defence and energy. Employers include Ernst & Young, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Toshiba and the Home Office.

為來自中國的學生設計 including Mathematics and a scienceIf you are not taking Physics A level and are passionate about studying BEng Aerospace Engineering, find out about our pre-sessional Faculty of Engineering Physics Pathway programme. We would still require AAB from your A levels which must include Maths. Please note that this is only available to applicants who do not require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK.
