專業(yè)概況
在這里學什么？ Many of the most important challenges of the 21st century arise from health and social care. These include demographic changes - such as an ageing population; persisting health inequalities; or the need for evidence-based interventions to address specific challenges such as obesity, diabetes and antibiotic resistance. This means there is an ongoing and increasing demand for expertise in a range of fields. These include public health, health management and administration, service commissioning, health research and clinical expertise in nursing, medicine, midwifery, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, and social work. Our degree recognises the demand for this expertise and our graduates are well placed to pursue careers in these areas. The transferable skills developed during your studies would also open up a wide range of other career opportunities.The programme includes the opportunity to undertake a placement. This could be in a clinical setting such as an accident and emergency department - or you may choose a placement in management, health research, public health or social care. Alternatively you may wish to take the opportunity to spend three or four months studying health and social care issues at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

We would still require AAB from your A levels which must include Maths.
