The Educational Policy and Planning (EPP) Program, ranked 10th among publics and 15th overall by U.S. News & World Report, prepares the next generation of scholars, researchers, and analysts who will significantly and positively change public education.
Our master’s program (M.Ed.) trains students in education policy analysis. Students gain a theoretical foundation in policy implementation, politics, school law, poverty and educational policy, and critical policy analysis. Our program prepares students for careers as policy analysts, researchers in the public and private sectors, and for entry into a doctoral program in educational policy.
The Educational Policy and Planning (EPP) program prepares the next generation of leaders and analysts who will significantly and positively change public education. The EPP master’s program prepares leaders for careers in policy analysis. Students gain a theoretical foundation in policy development, implementation and evaluation, school law, poverty and educational policy, and critical policy analysis. Upon completion, students will be prepared to work in public and private sector research agencies, nonprofits, school districts, state and local government, or consulting agencies.
