在這里學(xué)什么？ This course provides an understanding of how modern-day problems, such as disease and threats to wildlife populations, could be solved through the study of genetics. With practical sessions starting in year one, you'll gain a core grounding of genetic principles such as gene action and evolution and cover the genetics of all living systems, from microbes and plants to humans.We have close links with industry and our academic experts are actively involved in research, ensuring that teaching is informed by the latest scientific developments. Your learning and research will take place in modern lecture theatres and labs.Through optional modules and a detailed research project, you can tailor the course to suit your own interests and aspirations in the field of genetics.The integrated masters (MSci) version of this course provides you with additional research experience, preparing you for your future career or further postgraduate study.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
