This one-year programme is designed for mid-career professionals seeking an in-depth and holistic understanding of China today. It delivers an insightful study of the evolving social, economic and political development in China, and its impact on the region and the world.

Master of Social Sciences (China and Global Governance) -MCGG focuses on the understanding of the causes and ramifications of China’s transformation and its impact on global governance. China’s burgeoning political and economic power carries significant influences on a regional and global scale.

As the second largest economy in the world and a major player in global politics, China has played an increasingly important role in shaping the current and future developments of the globe. It is essential for students to understand China in a global perspective.

Programme Requirements:

Students can choose an 8-Courses (3 Core and 5 electives) plus Dissertation track or

A 10-courses (3 core and 7 electives) without Dissertation track.

中國學(xué)生入學(xué)要求

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) An applicant must have completed at least a Bachelor Degree (Honors) or European/German FH Diploma or its equivalent in areas of Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a university with recognized standing with at least a 2nd Class Honors or equivalent. As the Programme instruction medium is English, applicant must be able to demonstrate a satisfactory level of the language. Applicant whose native tongue or medium of instruction from previous studies (Bachelor / FH Diploma) is not English must submit at least one of the following: TOEFL score indicating a minimum of 600 for Paper based test or 100 for internet based test; IELTS: With academic IELTS result of at least 6.5.
