Overview
This MRes programme in Criminological Research, available full-time and part-time, will give you advanced theoretical and practical training in postgraduate-level research.
You will conduct a substantial research project that will give you valuable experience, whether you're preparing for a career or seeking continuous professional development.
You can expect regular (at least fortnightly) supervision with this excellent research training opportunity, providing you with a respected Masters qualification upon completion.

Our research over the past five years has led to changes in criminal justice policy and procedure, changes in the way that public bodies are audited, and has led to the establishment of best practice in the evaluation of large-scale arts and cultural programmes.

Our graduates have gone onto successful careers in both the public and private sectors; social welfare and criminal justice agencies such as the police and probation services and non-governmental organisations (NGO s) eg working with organisations supporting homeless people, refugees and in social research.
We will enable you to develop a range of social scientific, analytic and communication skills and a variety of transferable skills valued by many employers in a range of industries (eg media organisations, local government and charitable organisations, and commercial and financial service sectors).
Many students pursue an academic career or a university research career in the Social Sciences (Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology) or in a related discipline.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
