The program offer on-campus master’s degrees in Human Development and Family Science, and distance master’s degrees in Human Development and Family Science with emphasis areas in Family and Community Services, Gerontology, and Youth Development.
This degree option is available for students interested in the advanced study of human development and family science. Both thesis (MS) and non-thesis (MA) options are offered, but students must petition to write a thesis. The non-thesis option involves a project, internship, or exam.
Requirements for MA in HDFS (36 hours)

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Minimum Admission Requirements: Have earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution. Have earned a 3.0 or better GPA in the last 60 hours of baccalaureate coursework (for applicants with less than a master’s degree). Language Requirements: TOEFL Internet-based - 80 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 17 each), IELTS Academic - 6.5 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 6 each), PTE - 59, Cambridge C1 Advanced - 180.
