在這里學(xué)什么？ Studying a combination of history of art and French offers an enriching experience with exciting intellectual challenges and provides a valuable skill set that is ideally tailored to an increasingly globalised workplace.French is spoken by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Alongside studying history of art, you can take a broad range of French units in language, history, literature and culture, from medieval literature to French cinema. Specialists in French will encourage you to explore the relationship between literary and visual cultures.You will study a combination of language, art history and culture units, spending your third year abroad in a French-speaking country on a study or work placement. While abroad, you will refine your skills in your chosen language along with your cultural understanding.Both departments encourage strong synergy between research and teaching, resulting in a vibrant learning environment for our students as staff respond in their teaching to new developments. All modern languages students benefit from the use of our state-of-the-art multimedia centre.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
