在這里學(xué)什么？ A BA Comparative Literatures and Cultures degree from Bristol will give you an exciting opportunity to study a wealth of international cultural production in both depth and breadth.You will study the literatures and cultures of the world in translation in comparative frameworks drawing on methodologies from textual, cultural, and visual studies, as well as from translation, philosophy, history, social science and critical theory.Core units in years one and two currently include: What is Comparative Literature and How Do We Practise It?; Introduction to Visual Cultures; Cultures of Representation and Leadership; and Migrations of Culture. In year three you will complete an independent research project. In addition, you will have a choice of optional units that may be based in the culture of a single language or combine input from a range of cultures.Teaching is by experts in the field and is informed by staff research interests. It is delivered in varied ways, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and one-to-one project supervision.You will participate in small-group teaching and may be asked to give introductory talks to initiate discussion. Assessment methods are equally varied, and include presentations, essays, commentaries, exams, collaborative projects, debates, case study explorations, reports and dissertations.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
