This innovative program draws on industry expertise, emphasising a strategic approach to supply chain management. The program focuses on global best practice and links supply chain with general management. It applies theory to practice-based projects and makes extensive use of “real life” case studies.
Who is it for?
This program is designed for busy professionals working in procurement and supply chain, or related functions across a variety of sectors. It covers the latest analytical and strategic approaches to give you a solid grounding in real world practices in supply chain management.
The Master of Supply Chain Management will allow you to become strategically and analytically skilled in all aspects of SCM. You will be knowledgeable of all aspects of the supply of goods and services, including procurement, transformation operations, transport/distribution, and the management of information in these areas.
You will have opportunities to network and tap into the collective experiences of fellow students and professionals from a variety of industries and countries.
You will leave the degree with a number of essential skills, including:
- Knowledge of all aspects of the supply of goods and services, including procurement, transformation operations, transport/distribution, and the management of information in these areas.
- Ability to apply technical and communication skills to design, evaluate, implement, analyse, theorise about developments that contribute to high levels of supply chain performance outcomes.
- Ability to effectively apply knowledge of research principles and methods of supply chain analysis and business decision analysis.
- Cognitive, technical and creative skills to investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories and to apply theories of SCM to different contextual problems in supply chains and their business applications.

English language requirements for Master of Philosophy: IELTS (academic English Only) - 7.0 overall, with written 7 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 600 + TWE 5.0; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 94 + (Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 65 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill.
