Become a journalist of the future. The Master of Journalism degree, designed by leading academics and practitioners in news media, builds the skills you need to redefine your profession. Gain a theoretical and practical grounding in issues such as civics, governance, citizenship, the impact of new technologies, social media and new practices, including data journalism. English language requirements for Coursework degree: IELTS (academic English Only) - 6.5 overall, with written 6.5 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 577 + TWE 4.5; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 58 + no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 176 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill. English language requirements for Master of Philosophy: IELTS (academic English Only) - 7.0 overall, with written 7 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 600 + TWE 5.0; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 94 + (Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 65 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill.
