The Melbourne Business School's Master of International Business will equip you with effective management skills for the international business sector.
Your knowledge and understanding will be developed through in-depth learning in areas such as:
- Strategic management
- Corporate governance in a global context

- Marketing in an international space
Who is it for?
This program is for graduates who wish to establish a management career in international business, and who aim to develop a sound understanding of the policies governing the world trade and investment system, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
This course aims to provide you with wide ranging skills that will enhance your effectiveness as a manager working in international business. It provides a solid grounding in strategic thinking, relative to international and global market operations, and an understanding of how operating across borders impacts on functional areas (such as marketing, accounting, finance and HRM). This course should also develop an awareness of the policies governing the world trade and investment system, from the perspectives of a sovereign country, a regional trade bloc and a supra-national institutional (such as the IMF, World Bank and WTO). The course emphasises the Asia-Pacific region and pursues a cross disciplinary approach to analysing and solving complex problems.

English language requirements for Coursework degree: IELTS (academic English Only) - 6.5 overall, with written 6.5 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 577 + TWE 4.5; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 58 + no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 176 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill. English language requirements for Master of Philosophy: IELTS (academic English Only) - 7.0 overall, with written 7 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 600 + TWE 5.0; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 94 + (Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 65 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill.
