在這里學(xué)什么？
The Environmental Engineering Systems major focuses student learning on the interactions between physical materials and processes, and human and non-human organisms. Humans, through the engineering and operation of infrastructure inevitably have an impact on both the physical and biological world, which in turns feeds back to impact on humans. This major seeks to provide students with some fundamental tools from science and mathematics to be enable them to investigate, analyse, model and assess the impact arising from these interactions. Students who successfully master these tools will be in a strong position to apply them as environmentally literate scientists in industry, or to continue their study in the field of environmental engineering to become a professional engineer.
As an environmental engineer, your job is to build sustainable solutions to environmental problems.
In this major, you’ll learn about the complexities of natural systems and how they interact with the built environment by examining land use and management, pollution, water resources management, water quality and soil rehabilitation.
Work alongside biologists, ecologists and resource managers to create a better, more efficient and more sustainable world.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be eligible for entry to an undergraduate degree you must fulfill all of the following requirements: Complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or an overseas qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12. English language requirements: TOEFL - Paper based test - a score of 577 or more including a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English. Internet based test - a score of 79 and scores of: Writing: 21, Speaking: 18, Reading: 13, Listening 13. IELTS (Academic) - an overall band score of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0. Pearson Test of English (Academic) - an overall score of between 58-64 inclusive and achieve no PTE communicative skills score below 50. Cambridge English: Advanced/Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - A Cambridge English Score of 176 with no skill below 169.
