在這里學(xué)什么?
Equip yourself with the knowledge, focus and skills for a career in accounting, banking, finance or business analytics.
Commerce graduates are in high demand for their in-depth understanding of how accounting, business information systems, data analytics and finance add value to business and the global economy.
As you study our commerce program, you'll investigate topics such as:
How can business performance be measured and assessed? How can company, project and investment value be determined to make buy/sell decisions? How do foreign markets, derivatives and debt markets affect my client’s portfolio? How applications of artificial intelligence in business processes, offerings and strategies provide impactful and productive deep learning opportunities. What is an auditor’s responsibility? How can big data be analysed to add value? What issues arise from operating in a virtual corporate environment?
After examining the fundamental principles of commerce, you'll learn how you can apply and adapt them in response to specific challenges faced by businesses. You'll build specialised knowledge and skills through your choice of one or two majors.
This program will set you up for a thriving career in the public or private sectors in accounting, banking, financial management, business analysis, data scientists, business information systems and general management.
Business Analytics
The analytics revolution has fundamentally changed business. The Business Analytics major will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to participate in and indeed, lead the revolution.
Learn how analytics is applied to all areas of business from improving business decision-making and organisational processes to strategy-making.
The courses in this major cover the powerful tools used by business analysts and data scientists, including data visualisation, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and machine learning and deep learning. You'll also look at case studies from across the applied business disciplines, including accounting, finance, human resource management and marketing.
Learning how to solve real problems, the project-based capstone within the Business Analytics major uses live case studies from participating businesses. Working closely with academic support and industry decision-makers, you’ll work on a project and write and present your project findings to an audience including industry representatives.
