專業(yè)概況
在這里學什么？ Sport is a rapidly expanding global business and our unique Sport and Recreation Management programme is highly regarded by the sports industry. It prepares you for a career in the sport and recreation industry. The University's strong links with a wide range of major sports organisations provide you with excellent placement opportunities. You will develop an understanding of the principles of management, organisational management, and governance. You will also learn to appreciate the value and purpose of sport in society, understand the social, cultural and economic importance of sport, and encounter contemporary issues in sport. This academically rigorous programme views the world of sport from many social science perspectives and focuses on the business of sport as well as the importance of community sport and international development through sport. You will be part of a community of researchers and academics involved in sport- and health-related research and activities. These include; advising government departments, supporting governance of sport at local, national and international levels, providing analyses to media outlets, organising international conferences and engaging in international development initiatives.
