在這里學(xué)什么？ The 20 countries where Spanish is an official language have fascinatingly rich and varied cultures. As well as intense language training, studying Spanish at the University of Edinburgh is your gateway to an extraordinary range of literature, film and theatre from around the world, explored in its historical context, from medieval to contemporary times. On our programme, you have the opportunity to develop advanced spoken and written language skills while gaining the broad cultural education prized by graduate employers. Having taught Spanish for over 100 years, we can offer you a wide range of courses taught by leading experts in their field, including in Latin American Studies. Uniquely in Scotland, studying at Edinburgh enables you to take a full year abroad as part of your four-year undergraduate programme, either studying, teaching or working. You’ll therefore spend Year 3 in a country where Spanish is spoken. Another attractive characteristic of this programme is its flexibility. This means that in Years 1 and 2, you will choose option courses drawn from a broad list of disciplines in addition to your core subject. You can, for example, opt to study Portuguese, Basque or Catalan in Year 2.
