專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ After a period of political, social and economic transformation, Russia is playing an increasingly bigger role in international politics, while Spanish is an official language of a fascinatingly rich and varied range of countries around the globe. This programme is your opportunity to learn the world’s second and fifth most widely used languages while gaining an insight into the literature, culture and history of the many places in which Russian and Spanish are spoken, including most of Latin America. As well as intensive language tuition, learning how to read, write and speak the languages to a high standard - including in translation - you will also study cultural topics such as literature and film. A highlight of this programme is the Year Abroad. You will spend Year 3 studying, teaching or working in two countries: one in which Russian is spoken; and one in which Spanish is spoken. Another attractive characteristic of this programme is its flexibility. This means that in Years 1 and 2, you will choose option courses drawn from a broad list of disciplines in addition to your core subjects.
