在這里學(xué)什么？ For centuries, German-speaking cultures have had a profound international influence. In Europe, more people speak German as their native language than any other, and the language ranks in the World Top 20, being particularly important for business and politics. On this programme, you’ll learn German while studying literature, film and theatre, all within the context of historical and political developments from medieval to contemporary times. Through intensive language training, you'll develop your professional speaking, presentation, writing and translation skills. Uniquely in Scotland, studying at Edinburgh enables you to take a full year abroad as part of your four-year undergraduate programme, either studying, teaching or working. You'll therefore spend Year 3 in a country where German is spoken. Another attractive characteristic of this programme is its flexibility. This means that in Years 1 and 2, you’ll choose option courses drawn from a broad list of disciplines in addition to your core subject.
