專業(yè)概況
在這里學什么？ For centuries, German-speaking cultures have had a profound international influence. Studying German and History of Art helps us understand the world in which we live now, as well as shedding light on the past. Through intensive study of the German language and culture, you will have the opportunity to compare the achievements of artists, writers and filmmakers from the German-speaking world. You will gain an excellent grasp of the German cultural context and an ability to read important sources in the original language. Beyond the German-speaking world, History of Art will introduce you to art from different periods and cultures. You will learn how and for whom works of art were made, explore their meaning, and discover the ways they were - and continue to be - interpreted. In Years 1 and 2, you will choose option courses drawn from a broad list of disciplines. You will spend Year 3 studying, teaching or working in a German-speaking country.
