在這里學什么？ In MA Classics and Linguistics, you will combine the study of ancient Greek language and literature with linguistics and linguistic theory with a particular focus on the English language. The study of Greek will give you access to one of the world's great literatures: you will read foundational texts of the western tradition - epic, tragedy, philosophy and history - in their original language. This will complement your studies in linguistics, and you will thus be given the opportunity to investigate linguistic structures in both a dead and a living language. While the programme shares a common structure with MA Classics and English Language, from Year 2 there is a focus on linguistics courses. The final dissertation is taken in either classics or linguistics.
