在這里學什么？ **Politics** is the study of the way power and influence are distributed within society and how this affects decision making within and among countries and states. You will study a wide variety of topics within the discipline of politics including courses in international relations, political theory and British politics taught by leading researchers in the field.**Scottish Literature** is the study of the poetry, drama, fiction and prose of Scotland, in English and Scots, from its beginnings in the 14th century to the most contemporary work. The University hosts the only academic unit in the UK exclusively dedicated to the teaching of, and research into, Scottish literature. We are home to the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, which has been awarded over ￡2 million in funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and which is engaged in the production of a new, multi-volume, scholarly edition of the works of Scotland's national poet.

為來自中國的學生設計 The University will consider students who have gained good scores in the Gaokao exam for direct entry into first year. Students who have taken a recognised foundation or access programme or equivalent will also be considered, as well as those students who have taken international qualifications such as the IB diploma, GCE A Levels, AP and SATs. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate degree programmes.
