專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ MATHEMATICS is a vast and ever-growing subject which incorporates successful explorations of numerical, geometrical and logical relationships. Our ambassador scheme gives students the chance to spend time in schools, experiencing teaching at first hand and developing vital workplace skills. PHYSICS is the experimental and theoretical study of matter and energy and their interactions, ranging from the domain of elementary particles, through nuclear and atomic physics, to the physics of solids and, ultimately, to the origins of the universe itself. Many of our staff play leading roles in major international research projects, such as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the gravitational wave observatory LIGO.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The University will consider students who have gained good scores in the Gaokao exam for direct entry into first year. Students who have taken a recognised foundation or access programme or equivalent will also be considered, as well as those students who have taken international qualifications such as the IB diploma, GCE A Levels, AP and SATs. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate degree programmes.
