在這里學(xué)什么？ **ENGLISH LANGUAGE & LINGUSITICS**: - English language and linguistics combines the study of the history, structure and meaning of the English language, to discover what all this tells us about our culture, our society and ourselves. Over 50 years, we created the world-leading 'Historical Thesaurus of English'. You will also have access to dedicated laboratories for written language. You will have access to two dedicated laboratories for learning about and analysing spoken and written language. **ENGLISH LITERATURE**: - You will explore all aspects of literature in English, benefiting from our expertise in a wide range of areas, including American, Irish and postcolonial literatures, critical theory, creative writing, and the relationship between literature and other arts, media and science. In choosing English Literature at Glasgow, you will be studying at one of the oldest, largest and most dynamic centres for the study of literature in the world.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 The University will consider students who have gained good scores in the Gaokao exam for direct entry into first year. Students who have taken a recognised foundation or access programme or equivalent will also be considered, as well as those students who have taken international qualifications such as the IB diploma, GCE A Levels, AP and SATs. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate degree programmes.
