在這里學(xué)什么？ **Celtic Civilisation** immerses you in the history of the Celts, the development of their societies, their literature, material culture, art and religion, from earliest times on the European continent to the present-day British Isles. You will have the opportunity to study the medieval and modern cultures of the Celtic-speaking peoples, with scholars at the cutting edge of research: as part of a joint degree, with no requirement to learn a Celtic language.**English Language** and linguistics combines the study of the history, structure and meaning of the English language, to discover what all this tells us about our culture, our society and ourselves. Over 50 years, we created the world-leading 'Historical Thesaurus of English'. You will also have access to dedicated laboratories for written language. You will have access to two dedicated laboratories for learning about and analysing spoken and written language.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) The University will consider students who have gained good scores in the Gaokao exam for direct entry into first year. Students who have taken a recognised foundation or access programme or equivalent will also be considered, as well as those students who have taken international qualifications such as the IB diploma, GCE A Levels, AP and SATs. Please refer the university website for details of the English Language requirements for entry to individual undergraduate degree programmes.
